7 March... 4th day morning... we are leaving for Kyoto.... it was unbelivable.... looking outside the window ...for 1 moment i tot my eyes play trick.... i saw snow! weather was -2Deg C woooooo~
yes! it's true.... i stretched out my hands.... see the snow~ i hv nvr seen snowing b4.... & now right infront is the real experience~

snowing was actually not expected at this season...how lucky .... it's really an eye opener....& from our expressions can imagine how happy our feelings...





last look at the hotel.....before leaving for Kyoto....

snow was getting heavier & heavier.....& we stopped by to play abit...








Michelle Lim, Koh Liting & AiYing are 3 new frienz i have made during tis trip.....

in betwen v had our lunch....

my husband is always very happy when eating is involved...his expression can tell....

stopped over at Takayama Castle Town....is also well known as Hidatakayama (Hida + Takayama) a place that has been paid attentions from foreigners coz of local ppl's efforts which has a Onsen, delicious food, historic sites & old bldgs. ..
stroll by are sake breweries and merchant houses with latticed bay windows lined in a row..
from here, u can oso pick up thier popular sarubobo good luck charms .... which is a Japanese amulet, partiularly associated wif the town of Takayama... they are red human shaped dolls, with no facial features, made in variety sizes. Traditionally, sarubobos are made by grandmothers for thier grandchildren as dolls, and for their daughers as a charm for good marriage, good children & to ensure a well rounded couple.....
& i have actullay got 1 for myself.....
next, v moved to Shirakawa-go village... a well preserved UNESCO world heritage site to view its old farmhouses with steep roofs resembling two hands folded for a prayer...







& before we head to our 3rd hotel...Hotel Acty Kanazawa... v stopped over at the Kenrokuen Garden in Kanazawa, acclaimed as one of Japan's 3 great gardens.
Sakura was too early for viewing... but v managed to see some cherry blossoms....



V had our dinner in the Hotel restuarant in Kanazawa....
this is a very famous long leg crab in Kanzawa.... & it tastes real...ly oishi.....& it's quite x.... 1 pce is abt S$ 50+...
