5 March.... fine weather with temperature around 11-13 Deg C..... after breakfast at hotel , we started our 1st destintion to the Asakusa Kannon Temple... a temple named after the kannon (Goddess of Mercy) and is one of the oldest temple in Tokyo....

there is a nearby fountain with laddle for us to scope the water to clean our hands and rinse our mouth before proceeding to worship....

followed by paying for the incense ...

lighting up the incense...
next to the fountain is the bronze incense burner for worshipers to wave smoke over our head and body to get rid of bad luck and have healthy body.....

entered th temple.... incense is not allowed inside.... purely on praying only....

searching for a 5 yen coin to throw into the container.... a 5 yen (wu yuan).. meaning we have fate with the god....
took photos after praying....
it was still early to wait for sakura blooms which will usually be end of March or begining of April....

about 200 mtrs walking from the temple .... is the Nakamise Ave... with shops & restuarants lined up on both sides.....
after which we continue our journey to Odaiba Park
