We took the DanShui Line on MRT from the Taipei Main Station to DanShui Station after which we tranfer to Bus Red-26 to view the Lover Bridge & Tamshui Fisherman's Wharf....
The Lover Bridge of DanShui ... a cable stayed white coloured bridge which was named on February 14, 2003, Valentine Day... has a total length of about 193 mtrs and takes about 3 minutes walking from one end to another....
The Tamshui Fisherman's Wharf is well known by it's beautiful sunset & fresh seafood .It's predecessor was the "Tamsui Second Fishing Port" on right bank of the Tamsui river estuary, and important fshing harbor in the early history of Taiwan...(source : wikipedia) 
The weather was very cold on that day... and a bowl of meat ball soup has help to warm us up...

catch a train at Taipei Main train staition to Rui Fang station ... supposed to depart at 10:00 am but was late for 20 mins....
waiting impatiently...
finally arrives....
about an hr 15 mins... finally v reached Rui Fang Station... though tired, but excited.....wooooo~
rushing out to exit....
1st stall v saw at the station exit.....
once v exit the station.... cross across the road to take this bus heading on the left direction to bring us to Chui Fen...
and after about 10 mins of advanturous ride from the bus driver (those who cannot take it will sure to throw out )... v reached the top of chui fen...and it was very cold ....thx god though it rains abit... but consider very good coz this place rains everyday and most of the time pouring....

this is one of the stall i hv tried.... not that fantastic....but after the walking and empty stomach + shivering on cold... slurping in the hot soup it's rea...l good the feeling......:p

"Hachiko" - the Japanese Dog Akita..Movie i watched from the airplane back from Tokyo to S'pore. This was a heartwarming true story which is an American adaptation of a Japanese tale about a loyal dog named Hachiko. This little creature will see his owner for work at the train station every morning & return to the station every afternoon to wait for his owner to be back from work. Very sad that one day his master left for work and died of heart attack in his work place and never returns. Not knowing that his master will nvr returns he continued to wait for him at the station every day around his master returned time for continuous nine years. His loyalty has touches many ppl who work near and commute around the town square. Hachiko died on the step that he waited for his master outside the station on 8th March 1935 at the age of 12.
His faithfulness & loyalty has impressed the ppl of Japan . Eventually a well known Japanese artist rendered a sculpture of Hachiko & a statue of the dog is erected at Shibuya Station in Tokyo and his stuffed & mounted remains was actually kept at the National Science Museum of Japan Ueno, Tokyo... strongly recommend this movie ... very very touching... sure to cry ... weap weap~
Passed by Gramophone @ JP, i bought the disk ... even i hv already watched... & i oso bought the orignal Japanese version (recommened .... even more touching than the English Version)... i have not watch yet though :P

Taipei 101 is a trademark skyscraper & the icon of Modern Taiwan suituated in Xinyi District of Taipei, Taiwan.. It's a building comprises of 101 floors and claimed to be the tallest building in July 21 2007 until it was surpassed by the opening of Burj Khalifa in Dubai on 4th Jan 2010...It was believe that yet another tallast building is coming up to supersede the Burj Khalifa, which will be the Tokyo Tower in Japan....
This is actually inside the lift which travles at a speed of 37 secs to reach the 89th floor observatory station...
Viewing from the top of building... though misty but still manage to see... hmm nice~~
This is the tuned mass damper which suspended from the 92nd -88th floor , the 660 tons steel pendulum beleive to have stabilize te building incase enconter earth quake....
